Hotaru no haka

Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea will be screened on 1 jan :)
But this time round i have been told that the story plot will be less of a fantasy and more light-hearted as compared to Hayao Miyazaki's 2nd last animated film
Spirited Away.

Haha regardless of what, expectations still runs high.
Woohoo cant wait.
Seok Wei is going crazy over animes again.
In my attempt to search for a nice anime to try to satisfy my insatiable craving (huh?), i came across this film Grave of the Fireflies on youtube out of a random chance.

"Grave of the Fireflies (火垂るの墓) is a 1988 animated film written and
directed by Isao Takahata. It is an adaptation of the semi-autobiographical
novel of the same name by Akiyuki Nosaka, intended as a personal apology to the
author's own sister...
...Some critics consider it to be one of the most powerful
anti-war movies ever made."
Adapted from wiki
Cried until like siao after watching the film.
It is awesome in the way that the novelist tactfully used fireflies as a symbolism of death in the movie. Especially death of the children who died early in the war.
Must watch! highly recommended :)

Yi jin and i agreed that our batch theatresporters put up a nicer fight than this year's batch.
Esp our match with wei jun's group(灰色会)was the most unforgetable.
That mouth of his was unbeatable. Kind of admired his wittiness. Wonder how he looks like in NS now. lol.
The facils group vs macau's group was the most interesting.
Secretly took a picture of them on stage. Shhh...
hehe no concert etiquette.

Love this part the most.
A friend told me that she didnt had as much fun this year, partly because her first experience left her too much pleasant memories and led her to expect to find back that kind of feeling this year. I am guilty of this feeling as well. It's like a sense of emptiness and trying to find something to to fill up this emptiness. No matter what i still believe that this year's theatresports did leave you with another few more beautiful pages in your life story
So "lucky" for me to be called on stage. chu chiou le! crap. I still told yi jin, luckily this time audiences round is by lucky draw sure wont tio us. My flithy mouth. Won the limited ed theatresports 2007 dvd. cool :)
Jacky lao shi looks younger by 10years old. Last year he looks like early thirties, this year he looks like early twenties. His actual age? 41.
My godness!!! Still loving him lots. Jacky shuai ge rawks!
