Letter of congratulations
Ms Soo was my geography teacher and choir teacher in charge for 2 years. I remembered her as a strict teacher who is very particular about our discipline in class. Her most unforgettable times during the lessons were all the cold jokes that she crack that literally freezed us all to death. She is a wonderful teacher with such great tenacity and has definitely helped bring the name of AMKSS choir to greater heights, coordinating and helping us to stage our very first inaugural choir concert in 2003.
I recalled that we were still teasing her then, persuading her to find a partner. If I haven remembered wrongly we even went to match-make her with another sissy male teacher.
The time when she told us she was leaving school on a mission was during the last day of my secondary 2 semester. I could still remember that the whole class was already crying badly because we will be streamed into our different classes from then on. Her leave was another blow for us which made me cry even more badly. However, I am not sure why, but I could still remember the words that she said to us that day before she left. She said, “Life has many stages and one cannot stop in one stage but to move on…”
We have moved on to our different stage of life. Now she has moved on to her new stage of life. And I believed that her decision to move on was a right one. Finally the day big day that we were all waiting for. Congratulations to Ms Soo and may you have a blissful and long-lasting marriage.
