Don't we all just wish that the Olypmics table tennis match would come to a closure immediately after the team match?
Li Jia Wei lost to Guo Yue 4-2. A few of my friends and i felt sad for her when she broke down after the match.
A repeat of history.
(Speaking of Jin Jun Hong, i was rather surprise that a lot of my classmates do not know her.
Admist all the craze and fever over the 3 current stars, we really should not forget this pioneer table tennis player that had made us believe that Singapore is capable of winning the medal.)
Although i have yet to see in the news or media, but i believe that a lot of people, inevitably, would compare Li's performance to that of Feng Tian Wei's. This have led me to wonder if Li's decision to withdraw from the next olympics is a wise choice.(i am not saying she wont make it next time, but at least it wont hurt her again) However i still think that Li Jia Wei's performance was still spectacular. It is normal that nerve will still get on to one especially when one recieve the support of the whole Singapore. Just hope that some people will stop criticising her..
School was great.
Previous years i had an apathetic attitude towards the olympics, because sports have never interest me so much. However this year's olypmics is so different. Partly because the table tennis team made it far and that it is held in China, a country closer to Asia. However the most important factor that made me feel so excited about the Olympics is because of the fever in school. Everytime we hear roaring coming from the atrium, one would know that the match have started and will not hesitate to put aside their school work to view the match at the various broadcasting area. Another thing i love about Nanyang.. the " on-ness" of our fellow schoolmates. I am guilty for going late for Chem remedial to view the match as well.
Well at least it is not just me.

..
There were more people than what it seems.
